Customized ARGUS® measurement technology available for UGG partners in 8 federal states

UGG is working with numerous partner companies in 8 federal states (North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate, Baden-Württemberg, Saxony-Anhalt, Saxony, Thuringia and Bavaria). These companies, including international construction companies, are responsible for the expansion of the fiber optic network. In order to maintain the high quality standards of UGG, the ARGUS® measuring devices from intec support these companies.

ARGUS® measuring devices meet all UGG requirements

Our ARGUS® measuring devices work exactly according to UGG's technical specifications. The fiber optic lines are tested precisely and in accordance with standards in order to detect faults at an early stage and guarantee a smooth installation.

Individual UGG packages with matching measuring equipment

To provide UGG partners with the best possible support in selecting the right measurement technology, we offer specially customized packages to meet UGG's requirements:

• ARGUS® F300 – the all-in-one device with integrated OTDR function. In addition to OTDR analysis, it offers additional fiber optic measurement functions such as OPM, PON ID and comprehensive Ethernet tests for active and passive networks.

• ARGUS® F240 – ideal addition for companies that already have an OTDR device. It offers a cost-effective solution with powerful OPM and PON-ID functions as well as PPP connection setup and troubleshooting.

A comparison shows: When choosing ordinary test solutions on the market, several devices are often necessary to cover the same functions that our ARGUS® solutions combine in a single device.

Future-proof: ready for future requirements
Some measurement requirements are not yet mandatory, but will be in the near future. With ARGUS® measuring devices, companies are already relying on a future-proof solution. Important features such as ONT simulation, setting up the PPP connection with user name and password, speed tests and troubleshooting are already integrated.
