The new firmware (version 2.38) offers many new functions and improvements for the ARGUS testers 15x and 16x.
The LAN wiring test capability is available as an enhancement option for ARGUS®162. This includes the wiremap function, which in conjunction with the active ARGUS®LAN-Probe can verify the correct wiring of a network. Moreover the ARGUS checks the availability of Power over Ethernet (PoE, PoE+).
Furthermore the ARGUS supports now a text browser function. This allows you to read out customer or provider specific text content.
For the copper tests Line Scope and TDR it is now possible to set a reference curve. It enables you to analyse the local loop more precisely and much easier.
Beside all this new features, there is a multiplicity of many other time and cost saving improvements and optimizations.
