In use throughout Europe: telecommunications measurement technology from intec
intec Gesellschaft für Informationstechnik mbH, which has been a successful developer of telecommunications products for more than 18 years, is one of the leading suppliers of ISDN and DSL measurement technology in Europe. Many of the largest European network operators are using ARGUS testers and analysers for years, including T-Com, British Telecom, KPN in the Netherlands, Spain’s Telefonica, Telekom Austria, Swisscom, P&T Luxembourg as well as Saudi Telecom (STC), the Croatian and Hungarian telecom companies HAT and Matav and many others.
In the past years, more than 30,000 test devices have been delivered throughout Europe and the rest of the world. intec GmbH has continued to grow even at times when the rest of the branch was stagnating or in decline. We see this growth as an indication that we have followed the right strategy from the very beginning – in producing measurement equipment that is precisely trimmed to suit the needs of the user. Following this strategy, our ARGUS testers are easy to operate and combine all functions required for on-site measurements in a single device. A concept that is well appreciated by our customers!
Intec delivers test equipment throughout Europe as well as supplying direct customers and wholesalers outside of Europe with equipment that is often customized with special functions that may be necessary to satisfy the country-specific requirements of the customer. The customers in Europe include among others the largest Spanish network operator, Telefonica, Telecom Austria as well as HT-Croatian Telecom. In Asia, intec’s customers include both Korean Telecom and China Telecom. In Germany, many of the city network carriers, such as NetCologne in Cologne, ISIS in Düsseldorf and Hansenet in Hamburg, regularly purchase intec test equipment.
At intec, the entire core know-how is concentrated at one location - from software and hardware development to marketing, sales and service. As a result, we can react to our customers’ wishes and suggestions in the shortest possible time and thus offer products, which are exactly tailored to suit user requirements.
The equipment is also manufactured (under our control) in Germany. The consistently high quality of all ARGUS measurement equipment is ensured by a DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 certified quality management system and by testing the equipment in our own in-house calibration laboratory. The result: mature products "Made in Germany".
The intec team places a great deal of emphasis on comprehensive professional consulting. This is true, not only in Germany, but also abroad where the customer is supported by intec’s competent international distributors.
