Our testers are designed to include everything that a service technician needs to make measurements onsite.
From extensive test functions and interfaces to a convenient, easy-to-read display all the way to an integrated handset. As a consequence, our testers have always been designed to be complete – without plug-in modules. Every interface in an ARGUS tester, can be used directly onsite, which, in the case of the ARGUS 44 combi-tester, means that the technician has the use of test functions for ADSL, ISDN and POTS including a D-channel monitor.
We value convenient, simple operation ourselves and have always made this an important part of the design specification for our testers. This goal has been met by features such as numerous automatic interrogations, intuitive menu structures, ergonomic design, a large and yet practical selection of functions as well as the low weight of the tester itself. Another exceptionally helpful feature is the automatic printout of a report that presents all the measured parameters. This report simplifies the documentation and can be used as proof in discussions with the network operator. This reporting function is a standard feature of all our ARGUS handheld testers.
All of our testers can be directly connected to a PC or notebook to conveniently view and analyse the measurement results; furthermore, large amounts of data can be saved on the PC and most of the testers can also be remotely controlled using the ARGUS Remote software.

One important success factor is our high level of innovation: In the last three years alone, we have expanded our product spectrum by numerous new products, which, besides ISDN and POTS, now also include the ADSL, SHDSL, E1 and X.21 interfaces as well as an extensive range of protocols and routines for functional tests in professionally used LANs.
The newest product series, which include the ARGUS 126, 145 and ARGUS 200 testers, also support the testing of other protocols such as VoIP and are already prepared to handle the future technologies such as Video-on-Demand and Triple Play. Furthermore, these new testers offer even greater user-friendliness, flexibility and expansion options, and include, additional interfaces such as USB and Bluetooth for faster data transfers, large, high-quality displays and convenient operation from the mains or standard accumulators.
